Sharing Messages to Social Networks

If you have subscribed to Premium service, you can post the transcription of a received voicemail to your social networks.

Install the social application before you share messages

Before you share messages on one of your social network sites, you need to install and configure the social network application on your phone. Refer to the application if you need help to set up your account.

Once you have configured the social application on your phone, it will appear in the Share via menu in Visual Voicemail for messages that have been transcribed by the Premium service.

To share a message

1.   Open a transcribed message in the playback screen. Tap the overflow menu and then select Share.

2.   The Share via menu appears. You will see one or more social network options.

3.   Select the application you want to post to. For example, select Facebook.

4.   At this point, you may be prompted to log into your social network account. If this happens, enter your login credentials and then tap Sign In.

5.   You also may be prompted that the application needs your permission to perform the requested action. For example, Facebook may prompt you that it needs your permission to access information such as your public profile and friend list or to post to your friends on your behalf.

6.   You may be given the option to customize your message before posting it. Tap the message content and then edit your message. When you are finished, tap Post.

The Visual Voicemail application will display a popup message confirming that you have successfully posted the transcription.
